Roundabout renovation – Druten
The Municipality of Druten and contractor Remmits opted for AsphaltX® Twaron aramid fibres: stronger asphalt, less maintenance and a longer service life.
The project in detail.
Contractor Remmits is applying fibre-reinforced asphalt in the renovation of two roundabouts in Druten, located next to a bus station. Given the intensive loading from buses and other heavy traffic, this solution offers greater resistance to deformation and cracking, delivering a longer service life and lower maintenance costs.
We are proud that both the Municipality of Druten and contractor Remmits have chosen AsphaltX® Twaron aramid fibres. That choice underlines their confidence in a proven solution which improves the structural performance of asphalt, limits maintenance and considerably extends the service life of the infrastructure. A fine step towards a sustainable and future-proof public realm.
